i want to capture straight from my pc

ok ive been all around the internet ,and i still havent found what im looking for ,so maybe you guys can help me

i want to record game videos off my comp (halo 2 vista ,hl2 ,css ,etc...)
but fraps just ruins my fps ,and so does gamecam ,game recorder etc...
so i want something like they have for tvs with the xbox and such
so i want a capture card for a computer ,on my comp i have vga ,and dvi out
is there a capture card that records straight from a computer and then back in? but doesnt lower fps

or if theres a way of playing the game on one comp and recording into another

any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you running the retail version or the free version?, on the retail/full version you can set the frame rate to like 30/60fps etc etc.

i have the latest full version (2.9.2) its not an issue of selecting the right fps parameter ,its that my rig cant record and not take a major performance hit

Fraps works on most newer games with minimal fps loss on my current rig(the raptor helps A LOT). I, however, am also looking on a hardware device to intercept the data. Something like This device could possibly be rigged up to stream to another computer and have it save with streamripper or something. There has to be a much better solution though.
