no windows, no flashy LEDS or cathodes. No cheesy plastic panels or anything.

I want clean lines, and whenever I search sites, I just se flashy crap that looks poor. Id like a smaller case (not fullsize) and I would like as FEW bays as possible, I only need 1 for my cd drive, and everything else is extranneous.

Please post some links to any cases u think might fit the bill for me!!! Id like something semi original so smaller known companies are welcome!

oooh, one more point. NO PLASTICS.

I currently have an ANTEC 2800AMB, and the front plastic bezel is cheap and coems off easily!!!!

hmm, never saw that p150 till now. It has its own appeal. Is that front panel plastic or aluminum?!?

A Lian Li might be good. They are kinda plain, though. Silverstone is another brand to check out.

Lian Li PC-61, it comes in silver and black :D. I have been very pleased with mine  . I have the same model only mine has a window, this is a VERY nice case ;) .

reins, which Lian models had plastic bezels. I remember Lian offered that a few years back, and I wouldnt want to order anythign cheaper liek that. Im willing to spend good money, NO PLASTICS though :)

Ummm. Not the PC-61.

*reserches*

As far as I know the only thing that is plastic on THAT model is the start up button and reset button :D

EDIT: oh yeah and on most models there is a 1 inch by width of the case strip of plastic looking carbon fiber for show but its not big deal but becuse it is only a 1 or 2 mm think and the rest of the case is aluminum :D

Well I currently use the original Coolermaster Praetorian which I think is very elegent and understated.

I also think that most Lian Li models also fit the bill, and one would simply buy the Lian Li that has the look they desire.

Lian Li PC-V1000 with the Li Li built window. the window follows the cut off that seperates the hard drives and PSU area, and the switch i think is metal, comes in silver or blakc and if the switch is plastic, you can put a vandal on it with no modding apparently :) beautiful case.

Or of course without the window if you dont like it at all, personally i love it lol

http://www.hampton-technologies.com/images/v-1000-w.jpg <-- with window

http://www.oc.com.tw/article/0405/imgs/PC-V1000-001.jpg <-- no window, and yep, metal switch. lol

I like the looks of the PC-7 series. Anyone had any experiences with those?!? Its simple, has good cooling, and looks sharp.....

Anyone have?

Alright after further investigation I can say that all lian li's are SOLID aluminum except the little plactic carbon fiber things and power buttons :D

No, But by the looks of things it should be cooler and quieter then my lian li PC-65B with that 120mm in the front. And mine is damn quiet and cool. :D

coolermaster praetorian, older version. only around 100 bucks and its the nicest case out for that price imo.

checked em out, and I agree, I DO like the look. One small gripe, did they make a version with 120mm fans as opposed to 80's?!

on a side note. After checking out coolermasters web page, id LOVE a small centurion. Their SFF centurions look great and have great cooling.

We jsut need DFI to make an Nforce 4 SFF board that overclocks like it's current full size series. I dotn want to give up a quality board that oc's great just to go SFF, but it's tempting seeing those cool lil cases!

Assuming you are talking about the PC-7: You can get it with front and back 120's (I have one), but you have to look around. I got mine from xpcgear with that for the same price as the places w/ the rear 80mm fan.

The Kingwin KT424 is another choice... cheaper, but does fit the classy and simple theme.

Well I guess some people would consider this classy....

But anyway, newegg should have plenty of plain old cases... Look at some of the Lian Li cases. They have a couple of nice brushed aluminum finishes..

get the biostar tforce!

Cooler Master ATC-110 or 111. No case classier ;)

Unfortunately, you'll be hard pressed to find one. From what's available at the moment, I'd probably take a look at some of the Lian-Lis, though even some of those don't seem as slick as they once were.

I recommend the Thermaltake Shark. All aluminum construction (even the entire front door), full tower design, removable motherboard tray, water cooling accomodations built in, and handy drive rails. I've had mine for about 7 months not and I absolutely love it. Best case TT has ever made, IMO. I built a system for my parents using the Tsunami and it's also a very nice case, but I like the size and room the Shark offers better.

Wow guys, great thread so far, ive found some really good ideas, now the decision is a lot tougher!!!!

CM STacker. 11 drive bays and behemoth size...

Only kidding but it really do have that clean look. Looks fantastic really. I thought it looked big and ugly on pictures but IRL it´s sooo sexy...
