This is gonna be GRRRREAT!
My current problem is pullin the trigger on some good ram. OH, and a good quiet fan for the 900a. I've gone round and round and still can't decide on either twin 512's like

Corsair TWINX1024-3200LL
Corsair TWINX1024-3200LLPT
Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT
Corsair TWINX1024-3200LLPRO
Kingston HyperX KHX3200K2/1G
Kingston HyperX KHX3200AK2/1G

or, do I go with twin 256 dimms. I will definitely be tweakin and OCing but will I really benefit from and extra 512megs. Someone give me a shove over this edge I've reached.

what do you use your computer for? video/graphics, then get the gig of ram. hardcore gamer, sure, why not get the gig. sometimes game, not too big on graphics/video editing, 512 should be ok, save some $$$

definitely opt for 2 512mb sticks :) . you'll kick yourself later on if you get 2 256mb sticks, as they will make upgrading more of a challenge.

RAM in MHO offers the best bang for your buck as far as performance goes. Get the gig. You'll thank yourself later.

One of the biggest upgrades in a computer isn't the processor or the motherboard but the amount of RAM. In todays computers i wouldn't go with anything less that 1GB on my main system.

I would try to get some sticks that have BH-5 chips if your planning to overclock. I dont think any of the ones you've picked have BH-5. I would try for Mushkin PC3500 lvl 2 or Corsair XMS PC3500C2 ( I guess the corsair is still coming with BH-5 right?).

Thanks for the feedback. Tim, I'm primarily a gamer so I think I've been leaning towards at least a gig all along. Just wanted a little feedback on both. Snowwie, I wish I could find a comparison between the Kingston bh-5 IC 1G DIMMS and Corsairs' bh-5 IC 1G DIMMS. Anyone have any links to a Corsair-Kingston Shootout or maybe someone that has or has had a similar setup as I will have? I'm on the edge hangin on by one hand I just need someone to stomp on my fingers!
