I finally got my Shuttle AN35 motherboard installed and running with my Athlon 1.3ghz (processor is next to be upgraded). In my excitement, I bumped the speed right up to 1.6ghz using an high FSB. The machine locked, and now it won't power up at all. I tried resetting the bios, checking all the connections, etc - nothing.
At this point, when I press the power button, nothing happens at all. However, the NIC light, and a couple of LED's on the motherboard come on when I plug it in, so I know it's getting juice...
So did i fry my brand spanking new motherboard?
edit: I tried jumping the power supply and everything fired right up with no trouble... so either the momentary power switch went bad at a very strange time, or i screwed something up... Any suggestions as to what that might be?
