And a lot more then just that

I got everything hooked up and I get power to the motherboard, but it seems like peripherals aren't getting anything at all. My fan on my vidcard isn't moving, I dont hear the HD's queing up at all.

I tried two different power supplies, could it possibly be grounding or something of that sort/

Yup. Guess what? Take it ALL back out, and start over making sure that you use the rubber grommets or washers for the mobo. . . and that your PSU switches are set. . . etc etc

This is going to sound really stupid. But make sure all of your front panel connectors (power switch, led, etc) are connected right.

everything is connected right, I know that for a fact

Do my symptoms sound like a grounding problem? I'm redoing everything right now as we speak

yea, your mobo is hitting the case somewhere. make sure it's mounted properly with standoffs.

i'd try it outside of the case before putting it back in, just hook up the basic components and see if it posts outside of the case.

Well I tried it outside of the case and the HD's are queueing now
but the video card's fan is still not spinning nor is it posting. I'm thinking that it could be my videocard..... unfortunately I dont have a spare to check it with.... bah

see if ur power wire is plugged in... no, i m not trying to insult you or anything
i know people who have problems because they forgot to plug in the power... for example, my mom thought the printer was broken when i checked and it wasnt plugged in
another example, i worked on a computer once and turned off the psu switch, i was modding and i decide to power it up to see how it looks and when it didnt boot, i panicked and went crazy thinking my mods messed up the computer even though the power plug is connected.... when i realized that the switch was off, i kicked myself hard... now i remember..;)

check all the places ur power may go

and try setting it up without the case first..if it doesnt work, u have a problem..if it does work, then follow the same order and put it back in making sure to use plastic standoffs, grommets and stuff like that to prevent shorts

good luck

update to situation

It seems that the culprit is my AGP slot. I plugged in an old ass Nvidia Vanta card into it and it also doesn't work...

So methinks that I jacked up the AGP slot on my move....
