I shouldn't order hardware late at night ...

I'm building a HTPC, and my video card requirements are:

* PCI X-16
* Low Profile
* HDCP ready
* low power consumption (and preferably low heat and low noise)

My current TV does not have a HDMI input, so a TV-Out port on the card is also important.

I reviewed a lot of cards, and late last night, I ordered this:

SAPPHIRE 100253HDMI

Being late at night, I overlooked the fact that this card does not have a TV-Out .. :(

Redoing my search, I find that of the better cards available, there are:

* a couple that use the GeForce 9500GT GPU,
* a lot that use the GeForce 9400GT,
* and maybe one that uses the Radeon 4550 (if it can be fitted with a low profile bracket)

For my application, which card would you choose?

Thanks!
Malcolm

I realize that this isn't the ideal base, but I'm building this using a HP DC7100 SFF machine. It has a 2.8GHz Pentium 4 CPU, and the Intel 915G chipset.

Thanks!

I've saw this (actually, the ATI version), but it says that it only works with a limited number of video cards, and I could not confirm that it would work with the one I bought. Is there somewhere where I can confirm that it will work with my card?

Thanks!
Malcolm

It should work on pretty much all the cards. It came out a long time ago on the 8500 and 9000 cards, and I don't think the functionality has been removed.
