11C drop in temps under load, :eek: I will take thermal paste application more seriously in the future. I feel shamed. :(

Other questions/comments...

1) Anyone know how accurate the IS7's temp measurements are?
2) What is reasonable for a 2.4C at stock(for now), with a Zalman 7000A-AlCu HS/F and AS5. (Fan controller is unused, max speed)
 
I think I'm doing the same thing. When my Swiftech MCX-462V arrives to replace my Thermalright AX-7, I'm going to do it right. My load temps are in the high 50's C (ambient 76 F) and I don't think it should be that high. I want to see the light too.
