that Intel is going to move up its price cuts on certain single
core and low end dual core CPUs from the original date
of April 22. The cuts will be 10% to 15%. This is just some
crazy mixed up notion I have of how the world should operate
were it perfect.:cool:
 
Does this mean this is when the new dual cores come out? Im holding up on my upgrade just for that reason.
 
I never wait for lower prices or better things, since something cheaper/better/faster is ALWAYS around the corner. I just buy what I need when I need it at a fair price....
 
I don't know if that's necessarily the best logic...

You can time your purchase wisely and position yourself to save the most money whilst retaining the most probability of return on investment the next time you upgrade.

After a few years upgrading I've gotten myself a pretty good schema for doing this... it's the major architecture changes that always get the best of me.

Thats so true but since all this stuff is pretty much for gaming, Its best to upgrade when you do in fact need that speed. Since the directx10 games are coming out close to end of this year its best to wait as much as you can.
I decided to wait tell the new intel cpus come out and hopefully directx10 video cards.
