I plugged my 20 pin ATX in to the 24 pin socket?

I have an older 20 pin ATX PS...and I just upgraded like my sig shows...and I plugged the 20 pin into the 24 pin mobo socket...all runs fine...but I have freeze problems described in the previous thread...

Is 20 pin into the 24 pin socket ok??
