pioneer drive dvr-a07u

what should i do

Make sure the USB cord AND the power cord is plugged into the DVD drive. Are you using Windows XP?

Go to Start
Right click "My Computer"
Click Hardware Tab
Click Device Manager

In the Device Manager Window, tell us how many yellow question marks there are and what they are next to.

If you see a yellow question mark next to something with USB in the title, right click it and click "update driver".

i tried that and it wouldnt let me install new driver it says there are nonew ones and that i cant use it

Go to your computers manufacturers website. They should have a section called "drivers and downloads". Download he new ones there.

I have an old internal i/o magic cd burner in my system. It is recognized by WinXP, and the drivers should be built into XP.

I know that the old software that shipped w/ my cd burner (easy CD creator?) iis no longer compatible w/ XP.
