I need my [H]ard brethrens help on this one. About 5 months ago I bought an Abit VA-10 m/b (retail) from NewEgg. It died about a month ago and since then I've tried to RMA it several times (I have all the receipts and s/n). I went to Abit's site and tried their eRMA process but was unsucessful. I followed the instructions to a 't'. I wrote them on their "contact us" section two weeks ago and still didn't have a response as of this last Monday(even though they gave me a case #). Tuesday of this week I contacted them again explaining I'm still wating to hear from them from two weeks ago.

The help I would like to request from you is:

Does anyone have a direct dial phone number to a human being at Abit? Any help would be appreciated my brothers :)

heh, talk to a human being at any motherboard place...good like understanding them. What do you mean the RMA was unsucessful. Did you send it and get it back? or never got it back? If so, for what reason did they say?

Um, RMA it with newegg. They cover almost all retail parts for 1 year. Let them deal with Abit, don't try to do it yourself.

I agree. Call up newegg and explain the situation to them. They will take care of everything for you.

Good news! I found the number and was able to resolve the RMA over the phone with a "real" human being.

For any of you suffering the same fate heres their phone number here in the USA:

(510) 623-0500
