Both are priced at about 35-38, I know the E6550 has 4mb of cache compared to 1mb so I'm leaning towards that CPU more. But the E3200 runs cooler uses less power and may have more OC potential? I'll be using a stock Intel Conroe HSF with the copper core and some AS5 along with a Gigabyte GA-P31 motherboard. All feedback is appreciated.

Happy Easter

I would go with the E6550. The extra cache will make a good difference.

Yes, the E3200 will run cooler and use slightly less power, but not much less.

What are doing with the computer?
Are there any heat/power limitation you may have?

I build quite a few gaming/multimedia PC's for clients and friends. The computer will be used for mediocre gaming, I'll most likely go with the E6550 as I know the cache will help out in games and they should OC relatively the same on the stock conroe cooler.

The 6550 for sure, you have not mentioned that the 6550 has a 1333mhz fsb vs the 800mhz fsb on the 3200. add that to the extra cache and for the same price the 6550 is a way better choice.
