i'm trying to decide which brand of RAM to get. i don't know a lot about these brands. i wanted to get corsair but i've had an impossible time trying to find what i want from corsair. i'm looking for 2x512MB sticks of PC3500. here are the links: Geil OCZ Performance OCZ Premiere
if you have any others that you reccommend let me know. tell me everything you like dislike etc. about these brands. i would consider mushkin but i'm trying to stay as close to $200 as i can.

Corsair HyperX or Kingston XMS are the way to go. I almost never hear people complain about them, while people seem to moan constantly about OCZ/Geil/...

i think that you got those a little mixed up: corsair XMS and kingston HyperX;)

problem is i can't find XMS in the speed and size that i want.

Mushkin is definately the best memory. Corsair and Kingston HyperX would be my second choices. Geil would be my choice if i was on a tight budget. And OCZ would not be an option.
