i bought a 9800 pro from fry's yesterday for 150 bucks. but i paid little attention to the box and when i got home.. it had a white label on it saying that its a reduced price item.... this means that it can possibly be either : open box or refurbished.

i am a little worried about this.. i mean if its open boxed then it'll be okay.. but if its refurbished.. then we have a problem.. i dont really like the idea of having a used video card... so should i attempt to take this back to fry's and see if they got any new 9800 pro's in stock....?? or should i just keep this card.

How long is the warrenty on it? If its like a year or more then dont worry about it. Just save your reciept,.

As long as you have a everything you should be able to RMA it if something is worng with it. Just keep your paperwork. Test it out. If it works you should be fine. But I world not trust it for OC. Tomany people buy one, see if it will OC well. If it will not they return it and get one that might do better.
