This might seem silly to some, but I need the opinions of the pros :)

First off the soon to be wifey is wanting to buy a new printer. The only requirements are low cost ink, good picture quality, and scanning. I have heard that Kodak excels in these categories but wanted some of your opinions.

Secondly, my parents just got their first lcd TV for the holidays. They love it and are looking to get some good sound for it. My dad seems to be really interested in the sound bar systems that you can buy to go with the tv. I need to know if this is a good idea and what you guys think.

Finally I need some recommendations on a new headset. I'll start of by saying that I am a big fan of what usb headsets bring to the table. I also recently recovered my old Onkyo TX-SR502 receiver and have it hooked up to my computer. So basically I am either considering getting a nice usb headset or buying a nice headset that I can drive with the receiver. I also have a friend that just bought a set of Sennheisers (hd555) and got the zalman clip-on mic to go with it. He says the cans sound great but the clip on mic definately doesn't sound as good as it should. So I am really looking for something that has a built in mic. I plan on using these for gaming and I do listen to music quite a bit.

Your best bet for a solid answer for question 2 is the HTPC subforum. Those boys should know a thing or two about TV speaker setups and such.

For the third question, you might better off with the computer audio subforum.
 
I knew Danny would be the first to chime in :) Yea I was wanting to avoid spamming multiple forums with several threads. I will do it though if necessary :)
 
Ok thanks Danny. I found some sound bar info in the htpc subforum, so that is taken care of. I also made a thread in the pc audio forums about the headset. All thats left now is the printer recommendation. Any thoughts?
