What do you want out of a PSU? Not every PSU is right for every application. Do you want it quiet, efficent, "bling", LED's, modular cables.....etc.

Without knowing that this would be my blind 2 cents.

The Xclio would be good for low end but on the higher end I would move up to the TruePower II's if you want Antec......and we will call it a professional difference of opinion but I would not recommend the OCZ 520w. If you are going to get a Powerstream get the 420w and save the money....much of the 520w's extra is misplaced on the 5v rail and it is an ATX12v1.3 PSU not an ATX12v2.0 PSU like the Xclio or Antec TruePower. I would also consider the Seasonic s12 series.

The reason for the almost universal tecommendation of the OCZ PowerStream 520W over its little 420W brother
is its proven ability to power dual 6800U's in SLI, also DFI requires a min of 480W for their N4 mobos.

Err.....but last time I checked the Neoplatinum2 was an MSI product. As for running 2 6800U's in SLI not relevant for this system. If we were going to be sure to cover everything like that we would just go 850SSI for everyone.....you know? Call it personal preference but I try and tailor my solutions to my customers needs/wants/price a little more specifcally.

That and I give DFI a big personal fu for their stupid recommendations, unstable boards, and crappy support decisions.

The OCZ PowerStream 520W is far more future proof & you know it, at a reasonable price, too! :p

umm im going to do a trade and i megetting out of it a new 550W Antec, hopefully that will be good for ocing.

I still disagree, how can the 520W model be that more futureproof when the added power is placed on the legacy +5V output? If it were truly futureproof, all the power would be added to the +12V, where it would be more useful.

The 420W model is the best value (3A on the +12V less than the 520W, that's not much). Too bad they discontinued the 470W model -- that one had all the +12V muscle of the 520W model, minus all the +5V bloat. DFI throws out a 480W guideline as a general rule of thumb... but you of all people should know that you can have heavy-5V 480W PSUs and heavy-12V PSUs... ;)
