I need more desk space - wall mount my case?

I need just a few more inches to make things fit together better and I am thinking that moving the PC tower from the desk to the wall would get me that room.

I know there are special wall mounts with velcro and straps and metal....but I am thinking of just making a shelf and putting it up there. I don't live in an earthquake prone area so I am not too concerned about the case just flying off the shelf without restraints.

Any input on this? I think it will be ok...just want to be sure before I drill holes in cement (basement office)...

Oh that is nice. Exactly what I wondered...I will rig up a shelf from Home Depot and get some real estate back....
