I don't understand this language at all. I'm reading the book and checked out some online guides and nada. Is there some website that just makes everything easier, like a miracle?

I just find it so confusing...

If you really want to get help, then you're going to have to describe the problem or the task you are trying to perform. Otherwise you're only going to get generic answers like Google.com, MSDN.com, etc.

I'd strongly recommend picking up a VB.Net "beginner's" book from any publisher you see on the shelves at a book store. You'll have a better chance of sinking your teeth with that and supplementing your education with website searches.

Are you familiar with other programming languages? If so, the first step would likely be to learn about VB's syntax for common tasks such as declaring variables, making assignments, decision making, etc...

If this is your first programming language, I would agree with PTNL that you need either a beginner's VB book, or a general begginer's programming book.

There is no miracle website, unfortunately.

I'm in a pretty similar situation. I don't know a whole lot, and I've tried to pick up on some different languages (haven't stuck with just 1). Most people will say not to waste money on a book, blah blah blah, it's all on the net. Yea, I *agree* with that, only if you know what you are looking for. As a beginner, you don't!

Do as PTNL suggested and head to your bookstore. I learned more in a book for CSS very quickly than I think I could have picked up on on a website. There was just more detail and explanation for things than some websites.

Also, today is the last class, other than the final, for my VB.net class. I've had a little bit of C++ in the past, so it all was pretty similar to me already, but it's not too hard of a language to pickup, as long as the effort is there.
