Hi guys.. I' hav an issue. For 2 years I had my E8400 @ 3.6Ghz overclocked on my P35 DS3L motherboard without an issue, and I did was change FSB to 400MHz.

Recently I got a new graphic card, 5870 so I was thinking to overclock my CPU to 4.05 to prevent any possible further bottleneck.. I did so, but I failed Prime95 after 4 hours. So I Said ok screw it and TRIED to go back to 3.6Ghz.

Now this is the issue.

Ever since then, I have been running @ Stock speed of 3.0 Ghz, because I can NOT even overclock anymore to 3.6Ghz like I did before !! Every time I do it, I get a black screen saying

" The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."

I boot to Vista normally, if I am runing @ " optimized bios defaults", but I cant even OC to 3.6ghz anymore like i was on for the last 2 years.

Things I have done:

Formatted hard drive.
Updated Bios.
Took out all parts cleaned out and put back in.
Took out MOBO battery.
Rested CMOS with the jumper on the mobo.

Still cant get it to OC to 3.6Ghz ...

I will appreciate any help I could get..thank you!
