i need help setting up a vmware vm.

i need some help at this point in the setup for a vm.

specs:
the host machine has 3 physical nics and i selected them all in the configuration for the network adapters within vmware.

questions:
if i select all 3 nics as i have, does it mean that the next vm i create on the host cannot use the nics.
which nic is the vmware host using itself ?
i need some tips to understand why i need to choose what.
 
No...that means the guest OS will see 3 NICs. They are virtual. They are not tied directly to the hardware NICs in the system. You could have 50 VMs with 3 NICs each and only have one physical NIC.
