I need help choosing Sound Card

Well I have had my conroe build built for a few months and I am finally sick with onboard lan. So I am looking for a sound card from 70-110. It needs to have an optical output as I am using logitech Z-680's. I would rather not have anything from creative because ...well... I just don't like the company. I mainly game and listen to music with the occasional movie here and there. Any recomendations or comments would be greatly appreciated.
