I need affordable suitable card ?

I looking to buy a graphics card either from nvidia or ATI based on the analysis of my requirements,
I want the best card suitable for my requirement below:

My requirements:
Used in Gaming Olny
1024 X 768 Max Resolution
Full-Screen Anti-Aliasing (Max) and Anisotropic Filtering (Max) level
Overclocking at 15% without causing hangs or artifacts or flickering and low heat
The required frame rate is between 40-60 fps in the recent games

So, based on my requirement what are the important parameters should I look at the specification of the cards (e.g.) : Core speed, Ram speed, Memory Bus Width, Number of Vertex, Pixel Shader version, Memory Size,Number of Pipeline, Bandwidth in (GB/s) and . . . . NVIDIA OR ATI are better for my Requirements?

Thanks, it seem these cards are affordable, but as a fact . . .

These cards featuring Hi-speed core and ram than ATI radeon X-family, what will be the benefit of having such speed?

Else, ATI radeon X-family featuring high number of vertex per second, what will be the benefit of having more vertex per second?

Core and memory speeds don't mean everything, the 6600gt would be a nice choice for you, or a 6800, as mentioned

It also depends upon what games you play. BF2 needs a much more powerful vid card to do those requirements then say, GuildWars. For guildwars you could get that performance on a 6600 vanilla. Hell my 6600 vanilla does 1680x1050 max AA on guild wars

My choice was 6800GT.

Well I play new games and preferably in 1280x1024 resolution (17"TFT allthough I have two 20" trinitrons to) and I like to see all eye candy there is.

Still 99 % of my playing time is dedicated to CS CZ. Well You would say overkill I would say enough. Even I play CS CZ in 1024x768 to have bit bigger hitboxes (specialy heads) and that I can react quick in crazy action. Well I rush in lot of times.
Like You can run good CZ with PIV 2,0 GHz and 256 MB ram and Radeon 9600. Still You would be angry when You see that someone fragged You just because He has newer system.

Overkill? ...I like it.

I would say that the mouse the person is using has a much higher impact on their gameplay than their system if they are playing CS classic on a that P4 system or higher. But hey, if people wish to spend their money on something they dont NEED but they WANT then go ahead. People buy stuff they want but dont need all the time, I do, as does everybody else. That is the mark of capitalism, and our freedom as a consumer!

If use smoke granates (spesialy combined with flashes) people with bad grafic cards are mostly in low FPS and dead.
You can play CZ even with MX440 still I prefer good grafic engine that allows me 100 FPS allways in the game (fps_maxrate 100 , V-sync off allthough TFT screen does only 75 Hz it is very good)

With my PC I spawn allmost allways first and that's advantage to.
Well if You are addict as I'm You will not tollerate any lag. You are going to scan Your mashine and optimaze rate settings and be shure no adds run in background and no updater runs when You play online. I use with my connection cl_updaterate 80 and cl_cmdrate 80 and rate at 20000. Works best on server where I play.
