I need advice on this 120hz 3D panel

-- It's the real thing, but poor color quality
-- It's an older 3ms TN panel
-- It does not have LightBoost
-- It has terrible input lag

It's already part of the list of 120Hz monitors, but is a rather low-rated one among them.

If you want cheap nofrills 120Hz for solo gameplay or light competition, you don't mind the input lag, you don't care about colors and don't want the LightBoost enhancement, then it definitely gives you the "120Hz smooth feel". That said, I cannot recommend this for true competitive gameplay where input lag matters and/or where the best motion clarity matters. Happy users of this display do exist, if your priorities are a good match for this display. That said, people who can afford the GPU for 120Hz, should steer towards the LightBoost displays or the overclockables.

ok thanks im gonna skip this set. If you had 200 what monitor would you buy to pair with a 7950. Im at a max of 200.00. obviously at 200.00 it will have to be 60hz

I'll let others follow up with 60Hz recommendations.

That said, the ASUS VG248QE is a 120Hz LightBoost monitor available for only $250 nowadays.
