I need a text editor to convert to html

Anyone know a good text editor thats free and will just work like Microsoft Word with text and then you can convert it to html? I want something like whats built into eBay Turbo Lister. I want to post bulletins and things on places like MySpace but i dont want it to be just normal plain text. I want alignment and different font sizes and bold/italic and so on and i dont want to always do it by hand. Whats a good simple program that automatically does the html code for you?
