I need a SILENT keyboard - help?

I use my laptop to work/study in a library, and I need a really silent keyboard to avoid disturbing others. Using the laptop's kb is not a very good choice (bad ergonomics). I currently have an Apple keyboard Pro which is fairly quiet, but I'd like something even quieter.
Any ideas? (links to products, please)

quite keyboard hmm i would look into the logitech keyboards they are pretty soft to the touch and not much of a problem and you really want to carry around a keyboard just to use with your laptop ? i guess to each his own

I'm not a "me too" kind of poster so unless I have a question or an answer with which I can really contribute I prefer to lurk...

I have a carrel, so the kb stays there. Any kind of standar kb will do, I'm just using the Apple 'cuz I had it laying around. (with other 3 or 4, but this one is probably the best)

I was going to suggest the Apple Pro, then I read your post. So far it is the quietest I have reliably used.

The Logitech Dinovo, and the corded slimline are quieter than the Apple Pro. I had a problem with missing some key presses due to lack of noise with the DiNovo.

My friend has this roll-up keyboard, similar to this one on ebay: link It is pretty low quality, but is very portable and near silent.

Would it be possible to just type softer, intead of mashing down the buttons? Between the laptop's keyboard and the Apple ones, your not going to find much quieter. Neither of them make too much noise for a library, unless your ferociously pounding away at the keys.

If I would be typing any softer, the keys wouldn't register. I'm missing plenty of letters as it is.
I know the Apple kb is quiet, but you'd have to work here for a while to understand what SILENT means. It's like a sanctuary. Even the laptop's idling HD seems outrageously loud, and that's somehting you can hardly hear, if at all, under normal conditions.

I was thinking about one of those roll-up keybards, but they're really low quality - plus, on those you really have to hit the keys hard.
