Remember how I said that I was going to build a QPack system because I wanted to take it on flights?

I'm going to be on a flight shortly. Now all I need is some sort of cloth sack that I can put it in so that no panicky nellie sees the electronics inside the windows and thinks "Ter'rist!"

I'm thinking something that's like - jersey or terry cloth with a drawstring.

Q-Sack :D

Just wrap it in a blanket and put it in a duffle bag from walmart...

Hmm... I think they'd see it anyways through their scanner thing no?

Wouldn't it raise more suspicion if you seem more "sneaky" about it?

Anyways, I think a duffle bag with good padding will do.(especially those with harden sides that has a plastic piece in the sides to keep shape) No puncturing of the case vulnerable sides. I'd prefer a "hard" piece of plastic on the sides where the windows are over... say blanket fillings. Soft fillings will prevent scratches but not punctures or jabs at the window.

good luck. :)

Don't need the blanket. (and it'll then be too big to fit in the carryon. Maybe I just need to literally bring it with me to Target or something and try it with backpacks and duffels and water coolers and stuff...

I just got off of a flight from Miami to Atlanta today and I put mine in the original box and carried the thing right through security etc. Took an extra couple of mins as it went through the machine due to 5 tsa people crowding the monitor "analyzing" the poor thing. After that they said they'd have to scan it with some tool. They put it in the space in the box around the computer and 2 secs later they let me pass. It fit perfectly in the overhead too. Thats just a little info for ya.
