I'm looking at getting myself a sound card thats better than the onbaord one I have (RealTek HD Audio), but I only ever use headphones, so 7.1 or whatever is pointless for me. I'm a gamer and would like something decent but relatively cheap. I've never had non-onboard sound, and I want something that will make my music sound better and such.

I don't know if this would be worth it, but I really am not a HUGE audiophile, but I listen to music 90% of the time I'm on my comp, and its mostly FLAC since I like lossless. Is this any good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102002

Remember, I just use headphones (pretty nice ones though) and I'm looking for a good price. Suggestions?
 
The X-Fi league will always be the best for positional audio in games, as it supports the latest version of EAX as well as CMSS.
