I currently have a RealSync 17' LCD (not sure of model) that I am using for gaming and watching DVD's. I have had it for a year and it's been good to me.

I decided to get a second 17' LCD monitor but I am unsure of a 'quality' model. I know Viewsonic makes some good ones so I was checking out the VX724. I need something good for gaming but no more than $300. If there is a good 19' LCD for a deal I would also go for it too.

For the past week or so I was thinking about getting a 26' Panasonic PureFlat HDTV Monitor (not an LCD), but I think that a new LCD monitor would suit me fine.

The video card I am running is an Nvidia6600GT through DVI.

I also HATE cutting when I'm playing games, which is why I enabled vertical sync, but I have notice that my mouse seems to have some 'lag' to it. It is like it is delayed?


Comments? Suggestions?
 
I don't know but I may be in the same boat as you. I need a new gaming monitor possibly except that I dont want to spend over 250. Im not sure if I really want an LCD, I may just get a 19" crt.

BTW, that "26' Panasonic PureFlat HDTV Monitor" is not capable of that high of a resolution. Not really sure but i suspect 1024 X xxx max, and that might even be scaled to an even lower resolution. Crt televisions don't make the greatest computer monitors.
