My retard ball mouse doesn't allow me to move right. As you could imagine this makes CS very hard to play. I'm going to eat some ribs.
 
I'll third the MX500 and MX510. Also the MX700 is the best choice for a wireless mouse if your interested in those.
 
I've had the MX700 for over a year and a half now. It still works just as good as it did the day I got it, and I have never replaced the batteries.

or MX500 or 510 if you don't want wireless.
 
I use an MX900 and it works absolutely beautifully. I play FPS and RTS more than the next guy, and it works great plus I don't have any of the usual problems that plague the other Logitech wireless mice in relation to signal strength. I have used other Logi mice, and they seem to have issues with being too close or too far from the base. With my MX900 it works perfectly all the time, and never has any lag like some try to say. The only time it ever lags is when I start using the mouse after a long period of rest, and the mouse is in power save mode. It takes a quick second to start up, then it's fine.

by long period I mean like 10 minutes of no motion at all on the mouse.

I use a RatPadz GS (The best mouse pad ever) and Func Anti-Friction Liquid on the pad. It's like gliding on air. I highly suggest that no matter what mouse you decide on.

Also the MX900 has fully programmable buttons (all 7 of them plus the wheel) in case you were wondering. And the bluetooth hub is nice to have.

BTW - I found it for $70 on pricewatch, in-box new.

This would be my recomendation also.

I have the MX700 and I highly suggest it also if you want to go wireless. I've never had a single problem with mine other than my stupidity of forgetting to put it on the charging base every once in a while and the batteries get low. Good thing I always have my trackball also hooked up in the case that I actually run the batteries out.
 
There is the MX900 Bluetooth. But Bluetooth support in XP sucks until SP2 is released. Also the MX900 is higher priced.

Otherwise I am sure it's as good if not better than the MX700.
