I want a fan/temp controller that has a good amount of knobs and channels. and has a screen that shows my systems temp and other stuff. can anyone recommend me one? thanks!

The superflower Fan Master. It has 4 temperature probes/monitors, 4 rpm monitors, 4 fan controllors, several faceplates to match your case, and a color changing lcd.

If you want the best of both, I would suggest getting two different modules, an LCD, and a baybus. Also, stay away from pulse width modulation controllers, they are the cheaper ones that suck. The Zalman controller has a LOT of channels, and you can vary the voltage a LOT as well, it uses transformers :). From slightly overvolting your fans, you can go down to about 5V, which is a very useful range. However, it looks ugly.. You could mod it, but still.

I have been looking around at fan monitors and controlers and to be hnest I would like a nice display to go with it.

So far I have seen stuff that way way too riced out for my taste but so far the few VFD have impressed me the most with thier look and display ability.

I am at work and about to head home, Ill see if I have some links saved from my hunting to help you out.

For i have no experience using one. why did i buy one? becuase i thought it would be nice to have my temp reading outside my comp and control some of the fans. hopefully it will become more usefull than i hope. what do u guys do with it? like turn down fans when its a cold day or something? i really dont know. wanna fill me in guys. =)
