I need a big case to replace my old and holey ;) thermaltake. here are the prerequistes. needs to be able to hold a 2x120 radiator a 2x5-1/4 res a dvd+/-rw and at least 2 hard drives right now I usually rip out the hard drive cages to make space for the rad so just keep that in mind.
what I'm looking at- stacker http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119039 armor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133154 and chenming 901 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811125470 and the codegen s101 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811182005
lian-li 7077 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811112050 enermax cs-10182 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811124034 aspire x-pider http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811144040
and what I believe may be the one after allot of modding chenming 901ssi-0-0 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811125467 The bigger and deeper the case the better. if you know of any cheap cubes tell me

it appears that way.. just make sure your psu cords can reach ..be prepared to stick drives lower twoards the bottom if your psu has short cords

and if you want something cheap get teh AMS Genesis from newegg its like $20 plus shipping

yah but so ugly. as for the lights thing I'm still in that phase and currently have 2 ultra bright blue cathodes and 4 uv cathodes while using 4 blue led 120's and my case feet are led blue. and I modded my northbridge heatsink to a blue fan. needless to say I love blue and my case is no exception. I believe with a little modding you could easily put the second psu in there. and my psu has pretty long cables as they still have plenty of room in my thermaltake.

Gigabyte 3DAurora :D 2x120MM rear, 1x120MM front :D no modding needed and enough room for the bay rez and the dvd drives and stuff :D

that case is not that big compared to the others but I'll add it to the list all the same

here is my stacker - it can hold 3 120mm on the front HD cases if uget 3, comes with 1 so yes it can fit a dual 120mm RAD i got a single 120mm rd and my pump under it and still for some room.

Whoa, seems like Enermax bought out CaseTek. The CS10182 or whatever it'S called looks just like the CaseTek CK1018. That case is just amazing, I have it. It's really heavy and I've seen quieter cases, but it's about as luxurious as cases get.

those are very nice cases but I want more internal pics argggggg I;m thinking that chenming may be the one because it still has all those hard drive bays and plent of room for my rad then I'll stick in windows and in the side and top with 2x120mm each then put some apliques on the windows. I'm thinking about dragon appliques and does anybody have any suggestions on hot dragon appliques?

its still a full tower :D doesnt need any modding too, IMO its pretty much the only chioce for a mod free WC system :D

Pretty much a good idea to check out the server tiwers andstand alone cd towers that are out on the market. I used an old cd tower (originally held 7 scsi cd-roms) for my file server tower (1terabyte of storage happiness! :) ), and just covered up the opening in the front with some aluminum mesh that I found locally in a home improvement store.

Anyone can give you a half dozen or more 3.5" bays, but it's nothing compared to that many 5.25" bays of open space. Oh yeah, and the 2x 120mm fans I've got in the front of my file server tower keep it hella cool too! :D

The CM Stacker is awesome, let's just not start a fan boy thread like the AMD blokes are doing mmkay?

I hear that, But look at the things you can do with that case, I was checking one out at comp-ussr the other day, Wow, I can make the sweetest W/C system ,

I am shocked and disappointed. You heathens.

THAT is the Big Daddy of cases. It'll take a 120mm low front, the 120mm high rear, two 80mm's directly next to your cards, and there's enough depth to put 25mm deep fans on either side of the drive cage. 36" tall, nearly 10" wide, and 19" deep.
You can fit a 12x13 EATX motherboard in it if you push the issue (trust me, I have one,) a complete watercooling rig, all your drives, and still have gobs of room leftover. Just watch your cable lengths. The motherboard mounts about 2" off the bottom at least.

I had a review up, with pictures once, but removed all but 1 picture. You can still see it here: http://sharkyforums.com/showthread.php?t=245404&highlight=casetek+1018

I prolly still have the pictures though, so I'll edit them in once I find them.

edit: That was fast.

First, the empty case. LOADS of room.

Next, the full case. Still loads of room, even with my horrible wiring (I spent about 2.4 minutes on it).

Sidewards harddrive cages kick ass.

For style and hugeness cant beat the CM stacker :) I love mine, there is so much room to work and expand in there!

It comes down to taste when looking at the Stacker or Armor. I bought the stacker because CM was the one who originally built the case. Plus how can you deny that Anodized look

heh... just a quote from War Games.. about that WOPR machine... :)

wow... pretty cool... but I think I like the Armor most of all so far... the Stacker a close second... but then there is the lili v2000... which is pricy.. but magnanamous!

Ive always had my eye on LanLi's cases, but I went with the stacker for sheer expandability.
