Ordered my eVGA 8800GT from the egg earlier this month and just received a promotion deal for the 8800GTS G92. So I'm getting to RMA my GT and getting the GTS G92 for $10 more than what I paid for my GT.

Newegg wouldn't send me a replacement chipset fan when the aftermarket one I received had a missing fin. They wanted me to ship it back to them for them to send me a new one. It was a $1 fan it would have been cheaper to buy a new one. I ended rigging up a smaller fan I found in an older pc. Glad they did you some good though.

I fail to see the problem. They have to have the whole mobo so they can deal with the manufacturer, sending you a fan would cost them money and be totally stupid of them. I can't believe your complaining over them offering you a whole new mobo.
