I just installed a new SATA HD on my MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, but it does not show up on my computer. I have never added another SATA drive. What do I need to do to see it in my computer?

check out the manual for your mobo bro, you most likely dont have the sata/raid controller enabled on the mobo.
 
My boot drive is SATA- 74 GIG Raptor. The drive is in the add/remove hardware but does not show up in my computer.
