As the title states, I just picked this up. I got the Special Edition DVD set from my local EB Games. A word of warning, if you didn't prebook the SE edition you will probably want to skip EB. It looks as if they only got enough to fill the prebooks. The clerk told me that a customer actually started crying when she said that she could not sell him a DVD version of the game.
The special features of the SE edition are cool, the free headphones and the spiffy metal case. The thing is, I would have gone for this edition over the other just to get it all on one DVD instead of 6 CD's. I hope the SE edition sells rings around the regular edition so that other game companies will start putting multi disc games on DVD.
AS for the game itself, what can I say, it rocks. I don;t think it is a surprise that this game is good. The new levels are astounding and I am just loving Onslaught. The funniest thing about the game is when I first went into the settings I maxed out all the graphic options. When I maxed the last option the Male Announcer vioce came on and yelled out "Holy Shit!". I thought that was a cool touch.
