im so happy.
i've been in love with that case forever.
are there any things that i should do right when i get, something along the lines of new fans etc.?

Yes. Grab a beer, sit about 6-10 feet away from your new case, and admire it for a solid 10-30 minutes before you begin assembly.

i was thinking about just doing basic stuff, and maybe a window later.
but i have a friend who can get it laser cut free: )
ill probably put a 120mm fan in the front too.
another thing, i can't drink, i'm 15.

Pro tips:

-In the motherboard tray, about 2" to the right of the little shelf thing, drill a 1" hole, grommet it, and you'll love me for telling you that.
-Don't attach the front fan. It's a really bad whiny scrapy fan which doesn't move much air. Ditch it for a better fan
-Pop open the other side panel and put in a screw there too, it works way better that way.

You'll enjoy the case.

No, you can't legally drink. But who is going to let a silly thing like the law get in the way of a good time? :)

is this a big mid tower?
i was looking for something close to a full tower, and this appealed to all my tastes.

it's a pretty standard mid-tower in my opinion. i think the great feature is that it has bays head-to-toe with no real dead space.

im going to leave some space in between my dvdrom and dvd rw drives, but as of right now, i only have a 40 gig sata hd.

i still need a cpu/ram/vid card though : (

buy something from me: )

Wire management is a pain with this case. That said, once it's done it looks really nice, and temps are fantastic thanks to the mesh front. Stick a 120mm fan in three unused drive bays, that'll give you much better airflow.

don't bother with Laser-cutting a window, just replace the side panel with Saran wrap. Just as effective, and costs very little.

Also, because the drives can be oriented upside down because of the tool-free drive bay thingy feature, it is very easy to ghetto-WTX it.

My GPU's fan NEVER ramped up during the short time it was like that, before my mom began bitching about how ugly it looked.

For those of us who want a case that looks decent, ignore that post :).

(No offense, but really, Saran Wrap?)

If you can do it right, a Saran Wrap window will look better than any cheap plastic window from say Thermaltake.

If you can't do it right, get someone else to do it or leave well enough alone. Trust me, the standard side panel is much better looking than Saran Wrap, and it isn't hard to make a cutout for a window, providing the proper tools are used and proper safety measures are taken. I'd keep the panel as-is anyways, since the air vents are placed in positions perfect for getting some extra airflow to the CPU and graphics card(helped me get a decently higher set of clocks on my 9600, which isn't the best overclocker memory-wise). Then again, the OP wants a window, but as I said, that isn't too difficult to do.

or i could take a piciture of the insides and print it out and tape it with some post office tape on the outside.
(saw something like this in the ghetto mods thread)

Cut fan holes in it.

i can photochop a fake fan into the picture before i print it out.
that'd move a good 35465762cfm
