Ok so I upgraded my old Sony Vaio PCV-L620 to Windows Server 2003. Everything is great yet I want to use the onboard sound and I can't. I believe it is the Aureal 8810. I think one of the file names I need is adm8810.sys I can find the drivers for Win2k, 9x and everything under the sun but 2003! Please help me find them.
Alright so I just put Windows Server 2003 Enterprise edition on my old Sony PCV-L620. Here is one of my problems. I have a built in sound card on the computer. It is a Aureal 8810 I believe. I am looking everywhere for the Win2k3 Drivers. I have tried the XP, the Win2k, and 9x drivers and none of them will work. I installed my Soundblaster in the computer and it works fine for now. Here is my problem though. When I am remotely connected to the server and try to play an audio file it will give me this error here.
Also in the control panel under sounds I am getting the Microsoft RDP Audio driver...
Well quick rundown I want to be able to stream Audio using the remote desktop but am hindered because of the error and other reasons unknown to me. Also I am looking for the Aureal 8810 drivers for Win 2k3 Server. I found this here http://home.triad.rr.com/faq/WNS2003 FAQ.htm which says "Listed below are the drivers that were removed. These are currently
