Well, I've had my comp running for a while now and it's been great up untill now. Well not too long ago I started having problems with the startup. When i would turn off my comp and start it back up it wouldn't load right. It would either go to the loading Windows XP screen and just freeze or just reboot when it should have gone to the logon page. I would select restart with last working configurations and it worked the first few times i think. Then after a while that wouldn't even fix it. So then i tried starting up in safe mode when this would happen but for some reason( I dk if it's because i reskined the logon page) it would never show the users and i would never be able to actually get into the explorer. But somehow everyonce and a while it would start up when i chose start windows normally or start with last working config. I kept telling myself i would reformat my hdd or at least figure out wut the problem was but i never got around to it.

Then just a couple of days ago it started acting up. This time though I never got it to work. So after trying several diff things it finally said that there was a problem with some file.
something../WINDOWS/system32/something i guess i could find out if i have to.

And it said that i could fix the prob with my xp installer disk. So i was ok and i put it in the tray, restarted with the proper boot config, and let it load. It would load all the files and check my system properties but when it was about to get to the part where it should give u the options to install windows, fix a problem, and that third choice it would mess up. It would say something like oh u have a problem and u should die or something :( .

I don't know. I just wanted to reformat my hdd and start all over but i can't even do that :( :( :mad: I need advice.

Is there a way to fix this? Like forcefully erace the hdd? i dk i just need help
