I have been running my E6320 at 3.2GHZ for several years now. Today I got a BSOD while playing a game. When the system restarted, my OC settings had all been turned off. This is actually normal for my system, as I have had this happen a dozen plus times. I have always been able to simply go back in to the BIOS and turn all my settings back on.

Now, when I turn all the settings back on (to what they were before the crash), the system will not POST. It starts to POST, fails, and then restarts itself with all of the OC settings turned off, then boots up at stock speeds.

I would like some insight on this issue as it runs like a turd as stock speeds. Thanks!

when the last time you check on your CPU temperature?
if you waited to cool down in OC setting, Is it pass the post screen?
if your thermal is Good then it's one of the aged part failing on you may be the PSU or the RAM.
 
The cores are idling at 31-32C. Temps are fine.

The RAM is the newest component on my system (not saying that it isn't the problem). If it were an issue with the RAM, wouldn't the system be acting wacky at stock cpu speeds as well? I don't know if it makes any difference, but I have to OC the RAM by 0.2V, but it is OCed whether the CPU is running at stock or OC speeds.

The PSU is original, probably 7 years old. Again, I have no issues with the PSU at stock speeds. The BIOS is NOT turning off the voltage control when it turns everything back to stock speeds. So, even as I type this right now, both my RAM and my CPU are over-volted. So again, I am not saying the PSU is not the issue, but it does seem to be functioning as it should.
 
Just for fun, I enabled the CPU Host Control, but manually set everything to stock speeds, with stock voltage (with the exception of the RAM). It still failed to POST, restarted, reset the CPU Host Control to disabled, and booted up normal to stock speeds.

For whatever reason, it doesn't like the CPU Host Control being enable.
