i havent done anything except put as5 on it....its really fast in my little shuttle, but i was wondering if you could unlock the 4 extra pipes on it with out it exploding.....i would do a bios flash, i have with many 9800 pros, i flashed a 128mb one to xt, and it worked great, no artifacts and a much higher 3dmark score......can anyone give me some advice?
 
maybe possibly a bios flash for a 128 mb card?

Wait a couple weeks for the new version of RivaTuner. It will have an option that unlocks your extra 4 pipes, whether or not the pipe are defective or not is another story. This is be a software mod so the results are reversable if your 4 extra pipes are bad, you can go back to your working 12.

wait for the new rivatuner. bios flashing a 6800nu to a 16 pipe 6800gt will truly screw up your card as they use different ram

This is the problem, undoing a BIOS flash doesn't always work and can leave you with a dead board. A software mod is the safest way to go at this point, hence RivaTuner.
