I HATE w/c

Sounds to me like you used the wrong size hose or something. Whenever I hook up new hose it slides so tight over the barb that pulling it off requires some real hand strength. Odd that this didnt happen with your leak test though.

Oh and if you're frustrated just go back to air and be done with it.
thats why i asked what size.

Believe me, frustration alone is no excuse for me to quit trying. I'm just uppping the ante and getting a more basic, newbie friendly w/c kit.

I'm on a tihgt budget, so the Vantec Stingray is what I'll be getting

If you guys can argue why I should defintely not get the kit, please let me know. Y'all are the professionals, I'm simply the rookie.

I'm getting the kit off of someone on PCper who wrote a review on it and is basically brand new. Great deal. 40% off retail price.

Anyway, I appreciate all .02 cents :) Every comment is worthwhile to me

Quit wasting your moula on cheap kits and get something from Aqua Computer, Innovatek, Alphacool, Danger Den, Koolance, or Swiftech. Then you will be a happy camper and not have to keep starting silly threads about your woeful problems in watercooling. You get one error for free, but when you keep making the same mistake all I can say is

Dude you need to just get an APEX kit or h20-120/corsair cool and RTFM. Getting anything less that a h20-120 or Corsair Cool isnt worth it in terms of kits cause you can get air-coolers which perform just as well.

Air coolers make noise though...
