I hate my SATA. Help.

Which Western Digital RMA option would you choose?

Give the CC#, get the drive first, then send your old one

Send old one first, wait, then get new drive.

WHen I got my first raptor i felt like an idiot because I didnt know I needed to hook up 2 power things to it... I was pissed that it was broke and i hated the new tech cuz it didnt work when really it was my own fault... Please excuse the crude drawing for I am in Iraq with a shitty dell laptop and MS Paint :(

This is how your raptor should be hooked up like.

THis is so wrong. - You are supposed to use one, or the other, but definately not both. Most likely your molex connector isn't working correctly on that drive.
I bet if you unplug it, the drive will still run [of course, do this while system is off]

Right, one or the other. Not both. Most likely overvolt it and send the sucker to hell. I used the regular RMA on an IDE 250 drive a week ago. Sent it out friday at like 5 got it back a week later at 4. They second-day aired it for me for free. Thanks WD. Now I feel good about my raptors-to-be 5 year warranty. Hopefully they get here Wednesday, if not, Thursday.
