The article above mentions how NVs stock prices have declined 40% in 3 months, I have been following this pretty closely, it essentially says, sales aren't to blame, its production costs. And then at the end of the article the guy tells NV that they should lower their costs, not increase them.
IF you have been under a rock the past 8 months, you will see NV has gone from a position of projecting their market dominance to doing the bare minimum to compete and to sell us last years 600 dollar card for 300 today. Essentially we are getting a 300 dollar card, but it lacks the 'value' that yesterdays cards had, and this is due to NV cutting production costs where they can.
Basically everyone here, and everyone at the INQ has been ripping NV left and right for their decision to release the bare minimum instead of crushing ATi in the ground (Without considering what that would do for the market, or how that would effect NV, just people thinking for themselves). Then I see this article today, telling NV that their in for a bit of trouble, and that they should cut costs, absolutely everything they have been against since they found out that G92 wasn't the second coming of jesus christ.
I mention all of this because I see the same kind of hypocrisy here on these forums, people thinking about themselves, coming out with one statement, but their actions reflect differently. I won't mention names, you know who you are.
Thoughts?
