I hate COD4 cheaters!!!

Today I played a great couple games, won around 4 out of 5 Team Deathmatches before class...

We're in the lobby and this guy joins in with a level 4 prestige and level 34 ranking. After he joins my team starts losing hard, I mean we're losing 750 to 250. A couple games. So I'm thinking "Wow this new guy must bring some crazy ass skills to get the team or something." However, I never get killed by this guy... just my teammates... it's not that I'm good, I'm not, it's just I never got to run into him.

Finally we're on Backlot and I finally see the guy in the Center House.

I'm barely near the Center House and the guy headshots me. I'm thinking wow he's pretty good... until the Kill Cam shows what happened. Wow... I mean this guy was moving beyond light speed. And he was aiming so precisely for moving so quickly.

By light speed I mean not even perks could make you move that quickly. Right after he shot me it took him less than 1/2 a second to reload. ( By the looks of the Kill Cam )

So I thought... probably lag... but EVERYONE was seeing this and couldn't believe it. Even when I got killed by other players, during the Kill Cam sequence the other player was moving normal, no jittery effects or super fast movements. He was even able to bolt across the map to knife me. I was trying to snipe his ass from across the map to have him knife me a couple seconds later???

You know what's the worst part... I couldn't SOMEHOW report him, and since I was in a rush to get to class, which is where I am right now, I forgot his name. Something... jad_10... something like that...

EDIT: BY THE WAY, this is the PS3 version of COD4.... :(
 
Best thing about paying for XBL? People do actually get banned for stuff like that eventually.

It takes a LONG TIME before someone gets banned for hacking. I know, I've reported Halo 3 cheaters and nothings happened to those people.

And you know what? The best thing about the PS3... I don't have to pay for online play, period. But please don't turn this into a thing about paying for a service and expecting a better online experience. Jesus.
 
There's always bound to be cheaters. It's funny though, because once they get to level 55, what is the point of level'ing more? I don't believe they will have a true satisfaction of gaming while just using cheats. Hell, I tried using cheats on oblivion and gaming the first couple hours was fun killing all the townsfolk, but then the game got boring (no REAL challenge). Started up a legit wizard, and I've put many hours on it, and enjoying it a lot more.

Hmmm... Only played cod4 for PC, so I don't know if there are any extras for you console gamers.
 
Well for consoles it's just prestige, useless medals telling everyone you started all over again.

Also I got the PS3 version of the game because I thought the cheating would be minimal, however, this isn't the case. I just talked to some guys in my class and they're telling me they've played cheaters themselves.
It doesn't bother them though, they say they just try harder and harder just to kill the cheaters in every game. Kinda like cherry picking. ;)

WTF, relax. Truth is that XBL is policed because it is a pay to play service. Sure it needs improvement, but it's something to think about.

Sorry if that came off as intense, but I've had arguments with people believing one service is better than the other. Truthfully, I don't care about what service is used, it's just the cheaters... they blow goats.
 
Well this isn't cheater related but I play Domination mostly and I can't stand the people who sit back and camp for kills instead of going for a flag like their playing team deathmatch.

While I love this game to death, there is far too much damn camping and shooting from building to building than actual combat. This is partly why behavior like this can occur.

Kind of fun killing campers though when you catch the lot of them off guard and start knifing them down :D:D:D Or just multiple frag them to death! ^^

Though I kind of agree that camping can be quite annoying.. Some friends of mine were getting quite fed up 2 nights ago with local player we knew, who camp throughout several matches, and have won (I being the one on the non-camping side). But I guess there's ways around it with a little strategy, teamwork, and a good amount of nades ;)

I'm not one to brag.. but it just gives me all the more satisfaction being able to take down one or more of them along with me ^^
 
Well just aim faster than the camper does, or get the 3 frag perk. Campers arent really a problem most of the time. I just pick my sniper build and headshot them real fast.
 
Cheaters piss me off. On my own server some cockhole had a virtually infinite supply of claymores and planted them all over the building. He never got killed, but yet he never ran out of claymores. It was just me and two other people. The cheater and a friend of mine. We were both going WTF? The guy just didn't run out of them.

So I booted his cheating ass. (And that's why having your own server kicks ass.)
 
Well aside from the cheaters, I rather enjoy this game... just the inability to have all of my friends game with me at the same time really boils my blood.
I was only able to invite all of my friends into one game... once. After that it's always been downloading game settings problem for my friends now...

I've played one guy doing that (I think). My movement seemed normal but he was all over the place, warping across the map, killing you with the knife from the front and you'd never even see him coming.

I reported his dumb ass, along with everyone else on my team. I dunno if it helped, but I haven't been matched up with him since then (2 weeks ago).
 
Wow, that's pretty crap. I don't get it. Why cheat? Do people suck so much they have to cheat?

You know what's worse? Every time I get into a game I get ridiculed for my name, which is wop_sang. I mean my clan name is TIT... why not make fun of that? And it's always the worst players on the team that make fun of me. I don't really care, just annoying to have the headset on and have some douche say, "wop sang, wop sang, wop sang" every few minutes. I really need that feature patch for the muting option...
