WOOO!!!! Hell yeah!!! damn I can't wait to start OC'ing this biatch!!!

SLA9U all the way!! I got it from mWave.com so I think they have the g0's now or I just got lucky

the rest of my new rig comes in on latest Wednesday so I will have OC results up then!

Is the newer stepping really that much better?

what, aside from the stock 333MHz FSB (and hence lower multiplier!!! anyone going with the E6X50 take note!) do the 50's bring to the table? what is the highest OC on B6 compared to on G0?

Guys, what's not to understand? Q6600s have been out for a while. E6x50s just came out in the last couple weeks. So did the G0 stepping Q6600s. G0 is the new version of the basic Core 2 architecture, and E6x50s are new processors, why would there be any with the old architecture?

oh..well...no not ALL e6850 are G0 I could have sworn there were threads about b3 6850's well what ever lol

Mabay I can shed some light here.

When I got my e6850, CPU-Z, Everest or some benchmarking software listed it as B3. I downloaded the newest version of what ever it was and that took care of it, the processor is now listed as G0 in all my software. I dont remember exactally what program it was since it was fixed rather quickly.

I know that there is a new version of Everest that deals with Bearlake
