i can't remove my creative drivers

i am experiencing some audio problems with my audigy 2 zs. when gaming i hear a lot of pops. i uninstalled my creative drivers to see if i have the same problems with my onboard sound. i then re-booted into safe mode and used driver cleaner pro to remove any remnants. when that completed i ran cab cleaner on xp, sp1 & sp2. i then turned off the computer and removed the audigy card. i turned on my computer and booted into windows. i then ran driver cleaner again and was surprised to see all the files removed again. it appears driver cleaner can't remove the files. any suggestions. thanks.

You're doing it wrong... or maybe its creative is doing it wrong?
