I cannot SEND text messages to Verizon wireless users..anybody know why?

Hello All...

I have a Metro PCS phone and all works well with it, however there is a problem I have been unable to figure out. I can receive, but cannot SEND text messages to Verizon wireless users. I am able to call these people as well, but whenever I attempt to send a text message, it never goes through.

Any suggestions?
