I have this video card

[ EVGA 320-P2-N815-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB]
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130038

and i bought the

[ OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI ATX12V 600W]
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817341001
Specs: http://www.ocztechnology.com/drivers/GameXstream_600W_chart.jpg

and the 8800gts says it wan'ts 26amps on the 12v rail.

So I'm just confirming here that this is underpowering my video card correct? because that what it seems like its doing (artifacting + other things)

So im thinking of ordering:
[ CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX ATX12V V2.2 550W Power Supply]
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004

you should be fine... im running a 8800GTX on only a slightly higher rail....

the 26A probably takes into account the draw of the CPU MOBO and HDDS... but you have another 3 rails for that... that psu is probably overkill rather than not enough..

the 26a is for Everything. Your psu has multiple 12v rails, equaling to a whole lot more than 26a.

you're fine.

Thanks guys. Then im going to try my video card in my second comp and see if it acts weird too. I'm not sure what the problem is yet, might be a bad vid card...

or maybe its just vista (haha)

vid card is bad... :(
