I got some Kingston HyperX PC3200 ram for christams(512mb) and it wont boot to windows at 220fsb. The thing is when I had my regular PC3200 ram in i could hit 220fsb stable. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change the voltage to anything? My specs are in my sig...I dont think I will be able to RMA because I dont have a recipt or anything. Any input is appricated. And sorry for bad spelling and grammer=\ Thanks!

I put it in here because it has to do w/ overclocking even though it is a ram issue=\

I doubt Kingston would RMA it for not running 10% over spec anyway.

What is your Vdimm currently set at?

I wouldn't hesitate to raise it to 2.9V or so. I'm not familiar with your motherboard so I'm not sure what it offers.

I'm also not familiar with that RAM so I don't know what chips it uses. It could be that 220 is the limit.

At stock settings your lucky to get a 5% overclock, you have to understand those timings are as tight as possible, which means there is really no room to overclock. Loosen those timings up a bit and run the ram @ 2.7v you can see upto 260mhz. I have 1gig HyperX TCCD trust me I know.
