Does anyone know if Hyper V VHDs support TRIM? Everything I have read so far says no, and you must use VHDX to run VM on a SSD.
 
You'll need to use VHDX...
and QUOTE from MS "Trim requires pass-through or SCSI disks and trim-compatible hardware."
