Well, a potential employer uses Virtual Server 2005 and Hypev-V. I downloaded Hyper-V 2008, installed it, and am now stuck. When I log on, I have 2 command boxes and thats it. Nothing else. From what I read I need to manage it via Server 2008/Vista through the Hyper-V MMC. Well, how do I install a VM? Im lost... ha! I  my esxi.

Well, this is frustrating. No boxes can see or ping my Hyper-V box, despite it pulling a DHCP from my router. I think its a bug, trying another NIC.

Yeah, followed a guide just like that. I am basically at the end of that guide trying to connect to the Hyper-V server via the MMC console in one of my Server 2008 boxes. And... nothing is happening. Nothing can ping or talk to the HyperV server, despite be being able to Ping boxes inside the HyperV command. :(
